Two hundred matches

This photo didn’t make our new brochure – shame really, as it was an obvious clue to how some clubs love their members – they present an engraved crystal decanter to members who have played in – 200 matches…

Did you know?

That if you drop a grape into a Chelsea Flute of Champagne, it will descend to the bottom of the glass. Where bubbles rising from the bottom (Where do they come from?)will attach themselves to it, giving it buoyancy. Whereupon it will rise to the surface. Which is where the bubbles leave their host, and the grape will fall to the bottom of the glass. Which is where bubbles….
