This photo didn’t make our new brochure - shame really, as it was an obvious clue to how some clubs love their members - they present an engraved crystal decanter to members who have played in - 200 matches....

What a lovely inscription - is it any wonder Bonnie has been there for 20 years when they are this sad she is leaving?

DID YOU KNOW?

That if you drop a grape into a Chelsea Flute of Champagne, it will descend to the bottom of the glass. Where bubbles rising from the bottom (Where do they come from?)will attach themselves to it, giving it buoyancy. Whereupon it will rise to the surface. Which is where the bubbles leave their host, and the grape will fall to the bottom of the glass. Which is where bubbles....

What good value our crystal is - lasting for years rather than the half hour that the Lanson Brut took to consume.

So what are we doing at the moment?
Bracing ourselves for the end of year presentation situation - if there is any chance at all that you could give us a bit of notice - we would love you more. You know your Winter League winners, and your Club Champion - so let us know those, and after Finals Day we will engrave the last couple of names...?

Some winners are getting some really nice pieces of commemorative crystal - and some will undoubtedly end up with vouchers - again....!

Artwork wise - on the left is what we were sent, and then that which we engraved on to a Medium Laurel Vase - on a wooden base. Very smart.
